Kind words from our audience and collaborators...

"Having attended the EBCC Spring Concert  I would like to say that it was a very enjoyable evening with a feast of wonderful music.  The choir sang some of their favourite pieces – from the scintillating Salvator Mundi by Thomas Tallis (a truly spine tingling experience) to the delightful Tea for Two by Vincent Youmans.  The programme was full of well-known favourites including music by Gershwin, Kern and Rodgers.

As always, the choir’s performance was superb – very professional and with their wonderful blended sound.  Anyone who did not attend, missed an amazing evening.  Thank you and well done EBCC.  I’m already looking forward to the next concert."

Pat Fisher, audience member at St Swithun's Church, Sandy, March 2017

"I wanted to commit to writing my congratulations to you and the performers for last Sunday’s concert in Dunton [December 2016].  I admire your ambition, the commitment and the superbly-skillful use of resources to produce an evening of what, 'on paper', might seem not to be possible. Also, it’s clear that, in performance (and therefore, probably in all things), the choirs love the challenges and fine results both of you achieve. I don’t know Saint Nicolas but as a singer I’ve taken part in other Britten works and I have an idea of what’s needed to bring his scores to the concert-platform.

The Rutter spiritual-arrangements are audience-friendly and provide a good opportunity for you to showcase the choirs’ (and your) fine musicality.

Again, congratulations to you both, and to the choirs, for a really enjoyable concert last Sunday! I look forward to hearing you again."

Stuart Calvert, Musical Director, Conductor, Orchestrator, Arranger

"...a most interesting programme [October 2015] which covered the diversity of some of the best church music across the ages. A number of people mentioned how much they had enjoyed the Martin which they had not known."
